This Skiboot was designed for the Heierling Skiboot Company based in Davos, Switzerland. It was inspired by one of the first Boot developed by the company in 1964 which led US-Skistar Bud Werner to the Olympic gold medal in Innsbruck. I transformed the five iconic levers into two large, ergonomic ones which both together control five seperate straps, to provide the boot with a optimal hold by distributing the pressure over the entire boot. The entire mechanism is stored in the outer shell, which does not only protect it from impacts but also gives the boot agil and fast form.
Additionally the sole its equipped with innovative air shock capsules which absorb impacts to protect and minimize the stress on the skiers joints.
